Stephen J Osborne
Hello. I am a Vietnam-era veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. I am a graduate of the University of Missouri - St. Louis (Elementary Education). I began my writing career after fifty years in the bowling business. For twenty years I was a member of the Professional Bowlers' Association (not a particularly successful one). I have written three Novels: Hope Run, a coming of age novel about a high-school athlete growing up in Appalachia in the early 1960s, Hollywood Marine, drawn from, and very loosely based on my final six months in the Marine Corps, and Mike and Mary: The Piper's Demise, which features the major characters from Hope Run as they plunge cluelessly into adulthood. A father of three and grandfather of six, I live in Bloomington, Indiana, with my wife, Chris.
